Compatibility of Fastway e2 600 lb with 2020 Jayco Jay Flight SLX 8 224
Question:
Hello, is the Fastway e2 600 lbs round bar hitch the right one for towing a 2020 Jayco Jay Flight SLX 8 224BH with a 2014 Cadillac Escalade ?

Expert Reply:
Yes. The 2020 Jayco Jay Flight SLX 8 224BH has a dry hitch weight of 440 lbs. Once loaded based on the current weights you will likely be under 600 lbs, so the Fastway e2 # FA94-00-0600 is a great option and if you want more ground clearance use # FA92-00-0600 instead for the trunnion bars. Either use 2 inch ball # EQ91-00-6080 or 2-5/16 inch ball # EQ91-00-6100 along with a thin-walled socket. Since it is such a high torque, you can go to your nearest dealer or auto shop and have them torque it for you for a reasonable fee.
