The Curt SecureLatch Pintle Hook with 2" Ball - Bolt On - 20,000 lbs # CU47FR will bolt onto a regular plate. The standard 3-1/2 wide and 1-3/4 inches on center plate holes work just fine. Curt has made the Curt SecureLatch Pintle Mount for 2" Hitches - 10-1/2" Shank - Slotted - 24,000 lbs for the heavy duty pintle hooks to have more vertical adjustability than the standard plates, but the standard plates are still a fit you will just want to make sure they are rated for the weight capacity you are towing.
