How To Upgrade To a Dual Motor Landing Gear Set On a Forest River 35' 5th Wheel
Question:
Hi, I have a Forest River 35foot 5th Wheel with Venture gearbox VMC 940 RB and would like to add an additional Gearbox/ Motor on the other leg to avoid straining the one motor set up. What is involved to do this? Thanks

The best option we can offer to upgrade to a dual motor landing gear set is with the Ultra-Fab Deluxe Electric Landing Gear Set part # UF17-943010. I know this is more than you were looking to spend but the process to add an additional motor to your landing gear legs is not as simple as you would think. It requires a new leg, motor, gearbox, and switch. Furthermore; the motor, gearbox, and leg must all be the same so it would be very difficult to match up options with what you have now as I don't have any way of knowing what you have. Therefore, a full new set would be the best option by far.
