Question:
I just purchased a 2012 Chevy Surburan and a 2013 Rockwood Premier Model 2516G which has a GVWR of 3292 lbs. Do I need to install a Weight Dristribution and Anti Sway System.

Any time the trailer weight when loaded and ready to tow is at least 50 percent of the vehicle weight, OR if the vehicle sags at the back when the trailer is connected, weight distribution is a good idea. At 3,292 pounds, you are pretty close to that 50 percent depending on how the vehicle is equipped.
With a gross trailer weight of 3,292 pounds, that puts the tongue weight between 330 pounds to 495 pounds. Then you have to add in the weight of anything loaded behind the rear axle of the Suburban.
If your trailer tongue weight is on the low side and you will not be carry much weight behind the rear axle of the vehicle, I recommend going with a system rated for 200 to 600 pounds tongue weight like # RP65509. This system comes with everything you will need except a properly sized ball. For a 2 inch ball use # A-90 and for a 2-5/16 inch ball use # 19286.
You may not need sway control but if you do find that the trailer sways you can use sway control kit # 83660. I have included links to the installation instructions for the weight distribution system, the friction sway control and a link to a video and FAQ article that should help.
