5th Wheel Trailer Nose Sits Higher and Hitch/Pin Box Are Fully Adjusted
Question:
good morning I have a 2014 keystone avalanche 361TG. I am pulling it with a 2019 ram 2500 diesel. I have a Anderson ultimate 5th wheel connection hitch set to the lowest setting on the ball. I have about 1`of room where I could move my pin box up possibly as its pretty high right now. I am seeing if you have come across something like this and wouls recommend a small lift kit for the trailer. also I do plan on upgrading the truck to a 3500 as an FYI but these new rams site quite high stock.

The issue you are having with the trailer nose sitting higher and no further adjustments can be made to the pin box or hitch is pretty common nowadays since trucks continue to get taller and taller. The solution for this though is pretty simple as all you need to do is lift the trailer. There aren't a whole lot of options for this but the Lippert Components Tandem Axle Lift Kit part # RR23QX is what I recommend as it provides the smallest amount of lift. This kit will get you setup and ready to tow.
