From the picture it is a little difficult to tell what angle the A-frame is. But I do believe that I have a solution for you if the A-frame part is a standard 50 degrees or close to it AND as long as it is not a hydraulic coupler. What you could do is use chain hangers, # RP58305, and bolt them through the sides of the frame rather than use brackets that clamp on.
This is because you have such a tall frame, the chain hangers would be needed to prevent the bars from contacting the trailer. If the trailer frame is wider than 2-1/4 inches, you can use longer bolts of the same grade.
A weight distribution head should move the bars out far enough from the large coupler assembly on the trailer. So you will just need a system that is rated high enough for the tongue weight of the trailer when loaded and ready to tow.
You will want to look at systems without sway control for now, see link, and you may be able to add friction sway control later. With any of the systems, you will replace the brackets with the chain hangers and you will need to use the trailer jack to make installing the bars easier.
I have included a link to an FAQ article on weight distribution for you to view.
