Question:
Im attempting to install part part 47515 on my 2008 Toyota Highlander. Any idea where the backup wire would be? I believe its just in front of the drivers side taillight. Can you confirm?

In order to install the Adapter 4-Pole to 5-Pole Trailer Wiring Adapter part # 47515 on a 2008 Toyota Highlander you'll first need the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness part # 118449. The two 4-ways will plug into each other then the blue wire gets run to the reverse light circuit. I would not know what color this wire is so you need to test for this but it should be able to be most easily obtained directly behind the tail light right behind the reverse light portion. This can be obtained from either the driver or passenger side.
