Can you confirm that the rear tailgate on my 2009 Highlander will be able to fully open with the Thule TH615 installed? Thank you.

To determine if the Thule Pulse XL # TH615 will clear the liftgate on your 2009 Highlander, you will need to take a measurement on the roof. Open the rear liftgate and measure the distance between the rearmost roof rack crossbar and the closest portion of the liftgate. If this measurement is less than 16 inches, the Pulse XL Roof box will install without interfering with the operation of your liftgate.
