Can Malone MegaSport LowBed 2 Carry Hobie Compass and Outback Kayaks
Question:
I have 4 hobie kayaks. Id like to carry my 2 person compass and an outback on the lower bars using the mega wing cradles. I also have 2 std hobie compass I would like to carry on the 2nd tier. Each compass weighs 68 lbs so I will be under the 150lb max. Will two kayaks fit on the upper bars using the mega wing cradles?

Expert Reply:
Each of the Megawing carriers part # MPG207 weighs 15 lbs so if you had two of them plus the weight of two 68 lb kayaks you'd be looking at a total weight of 166 lbs which would be more weight than what the upper bars can handle. If you could put the lighter boats on the upper bars and the heavier ones on the upper bars you'd be best off.
