How to Connect Vehicle With 4-Way to Boat Trailer With 5-Way

Question:

I have a 2001 Lexus LX470 with a factory 4 Female wire trailer Connection and I have a boat trailer with 5 prong male connector. I havent try to connect the 5 pin trailer to my Lexus LX470 4 pin female connector, not sure if it will work. I was thing of upgrading all connections any recommendations of proper parts needed to do this job?

You can easily convert the 4-way on your 2001 Lexus LX470 to a 5-way to attach to connect to your boat trailer. The only thing you need is the Tow Ready 4 Pole to 5 Pole Trailer Wiring Adapter # 20036.

The only thing you'll need to do is tap into a reverse light wire on your 2001 Lexus, and this adapter comes with a quick splice which allows you to easily do that.
