Trailer Hitch Recommendation for Yakima TwoTimer Bike Rack on a 2018 Toyota RAV4
Question:
I was in last week to have a new hitch installed for my 2018 Corolla that would be compatible with my Yakima Two-Timer bike rack. I am very happy with how things turned out. My question is: Will my previous hitch which is a Draw Tite 36416 fit my wifes 2018 Toyota Rav4? Thanks.

Glad to hear that you are enjoying the Curt Trailer Hitch # C11265 on your 2018 Toyota Corolla!
In order to install a hitch on your wife's 2018 Toyota RAV4 you will need a different trailer hitch as the Draw-Tite # 36416 you currently have is only a fit for a 2007 - 2012 Lexus ES 350 or a 2007 - 2011 Toyota Camry.
Normally I recommend going with a 2" hitch receiver like the etrailer # e98864 for the RAV4 because it allows you to use a wider variety of accessories, but if you are solely using these hitches for the Yakima TwoTimer I recommend going ahead and just sticking with a 1-1/4" hitch receiver just so you don't have to keep putting on and taking off the adapter for the bike rack. In this case I recommend the Curt # C12108 because the Curt hitches tend to have thicker powder coats and better welds.
