Replacement Shank or Adapter for Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE2 Bike Carrier
Question:
I have an old Hollywood bike rack model SE2-A. It is configured with a 2 draw bar. Is there an option I can purchase separately to replace the 2 draw bar with a 1.25 draw bar? Thanks in advance.

Unfortunately that 1-1/4 inch shank is not available as a replacement part two swap out. The best option I can offer to allow your rack to fit in a 1-1/4 inch receiver is to use a hitch expander like # HTAD which will reduce the tongue weight of your hitch by 50% but should work well with your bike rack and most bikes. You simply need to account for the weight of the bike rack (48 lbs) and the bikes loaded.
