Comparing Swagman Titan and Thule Camper Bike Racks for a 2016 Nissan Rogue

Question:

Have a 2016 Nissan Rogue SL AWD and would like a 4 bike hanging rack. Like the easy lever folding feature as opposed to pin and clip of the Swagman S63410 and the Thule TH9056. The arms on the Swagman S63410 seem much shorter than he arms on the Thule TH9056. Can you inform me of the difference in length? What other pros/cons should I be aware of between these two products?

I personally like the Thule Camber 4 Bike Rack # TH9056 better than the Swagman Titan 4 Bike Rack # S63410. It looks cleaner, is easier to load/unload bikes, and it is backed by the Thule name which is huge in the bike rack industry.

Both bike racks use levers both for tilting the rack away and for folding the arms down, but the Thule does have the cradles spaced out 7" on center which is further than the Swagman so it'll be easier to load/unload bikes. Another plus is that the straps for the Thule are ratcheting so you can get them fit exactly to your frame while the Swagman uses the rubber straps with "preset" lengths to choose from. Sometimes you have a little slack and other times you have to really pull on the strap to secure your bike.

Really the only down side to the Thule option is that it doesn't come with locks while the Swagman comes with a cable lock for the bikes. You can use parts # TH538XT and # THSTL2 to add locks to the Thule while the Swagman just requires part # S64029 for the bike rack since the cable is already included.

At the end of the day you'll be happier with the Thule just because they have more things integrated into the bike rack than Swagman does. I've attached review videos of each that you can check out and see all of the little differences between them.
