What Are the Dimensions of the Curt 17 x 46 Cargo Carrier
Question:
What is the dimension with the hitch receiver? Does the 20” wide include this part?

Expert Reply:
The shank of the Curt Cargo Carrier # C18145 is approximately 8" long total and is not included in the dimensions given for the carrier. The interior measurement of the carrier (usable space) is 46-3/8" long x 17-9/16" wide x 5-1/2" deep; the outside dimensions are 48" long x 20" wide x 6" tall. This carrier is extremely versatile since it can be used in both 1-1/4" and 2" receivers, so it's perfect for your 2019 Nissan Maxima.
I've also linked a video review of this carrier for you to have a look at, as well.
