Replacement 7-Way and 4-Way Socket for a 2011 Ford F-150

This looks identical to the trailer light plug on my 2011 f150 do you know if it will work with the factory ford pigtail that plugs into this socket?

Yes, you can use the socket, # HM40975, from the # HM40975-11933 kit as a replacement 7-way and 4-way trailer connector on your 2011 Ford F-150.

The plug-in adapter that comes with this kit is only designed for Dodge and Chrysler vehicles, but you can use just the # HM40975 socket as long as your truck came with a factory 7-way trailer connector. I have attached a link to the socket that should save you some money from having to buy the kit that you referenced.
