Why Cant the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE 2 Electric Bike Rack Be Used On Travel Trailer

Why is the SE not trailer approved? We carry two bikes on the back of our tandem ale Jayco travel trailer rear bumper 2 receiver. We need the wider wheel base your model provides. Two Bikes at 50# each .

The Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE 2 Electric Bike Rack part # HLY84FR is not rated for use on trailers as the ride on the back of a trailer is extremely rough so bike racks need to be built stronger for this. That said, you won't be able to transport e-bikes on a travel trailer as none of the travel trailer approved bike racks are rated for use with e-bikes. The best option I have is to carry the bikes between the vehicle and trailer with a dual hitch adapter, the Curt Multipurpose Ball Mount part # D210 just be sure to verify the weight and rise/drop specifications are inline with your needs.
