Difference Between Tow Ready and Hopkins 4-Way to 5-Way Adapters for 2012 Nissan Frontier

Question:

I need to get a 4-pole to 5-pole wiring adapter for my 2012 Nissan Frontier truck so I can pull a boat trailer. When I first went on your website I came up with part no. 47515. Then later in the day I went back on the website and ended up with part no. 20036. What is the difference between the 2 ? Which is the right one for my vehicle ? Thk You

The difference between the Tow Ready # 20036 and the Hopkins # 47515 is just the company that manufactures them. They perform the same functions and aside from the Tow Ready having a little bit of wiring between the 4-Way and 5-Way plus it coming with some zip-ties there isn't anything different about them.

I like the design of the Tow Ready a little more just because that extra bit of wire gives you some flexibility for the install plus you can use one of the zip-ties and some electrical tape to make the connection to your 2012 Nissan Frontier much more secure.
