The 13,500 Btu Advent Air # ACM135CH will work really nicely for your Promaster Camper Van. It includes all the components necessary when starting from scratch like this and is the perfect size for smaller RVs like this.

Based on my research you have a Coleman Mach AC system, so your best option for a replacement is with the Advent Air # ACCOL135. This unit includes a wiring adapter and is specifically designed to replace Coleman Mach models.

We have the Advent 15k BTU Air Conditioner part # ACCAR150 which was designed to fit in place of the Carrier setups like you have so your current thermostat setup will work like normal. To add a heat strip you'd want the part # ACMHD. This would be the easiest and best solution.
