Can B and W Companion Hitch be Used with Sidewinder Pin Box

Question:

Can the reese sidewinder pin box be used with a BandW companion hitch? Im assuming you need a different wedge on it?

If the Companion hitch is one that fits a truck's OEM rail kit like the Ram Companion # BWRVK3600 you can use it with a Sidewinder since it attaches to the truck rail kit in four places but the Companion hitches that fit gooseneck hitches and only have the center post attachment the Sidewinder would put too much torque on it and it would damage it.

There is a Companion wedge too with # SWW-06 that you would need to use if you have a Companion for an OEM rail kit.
