Fifth Wheel Hitch Solution for 2006 Dodge Ram with Flat Bed

What different parts do I need to install fifth wheel rails on a 2006 dodge ram quad cab long bed, with a flatbed on it?

So flat bed trucks can tow fifth wheel trailers but you first want to make sure that your flat bed is not longer than a standard truck bed. Reason being the overhangs of fifth wheel trailers are designed for the bed lengths of standard bed trucks so a longer bed would cause interference.

So if that checks out you'd need a lower profile hitch since flat beds sit higher. For that you'd want the B and W Companion Flat Bed Hitch part # BWRVK3050 and the install hitch/rail kit part # BWGNRK1500.
