Trailer Wiring Recommendation for a 2012 Toyota Prius V

Has the tow ready harness no. 118505 been tested on the 2012 Prius v yet and if not when do you anticipate this? Thank you.

I spoke with my contact at Curt and she informed me that for your 2012 Toyota Prius II you will need a Curt Custom Fit Vehicle Wiring # C56496. This is a hard wire install that requires that you test the wires of your tail light circuits that you have found. Check out the installation instructions and install video I attached for you. The Curt Harness # C56147 that you referenced is only for the older model Prii before 2012.
