Stable Bike Rack Recommendation for 2016 Mazda CX-9 for Carrying Bikes with Fenders
Question:
I am having a tough time deciding between two products: the Kuat Transfer 2 and the Swagman Current both for a 2 hitch-not yet purchased but leaning to the Curt III 2, by the way. I love the build quality of the Kuat and it looks like it is TIGHT on the road test, but I have one bike with a fender on the front and do not think it will work. The Swagman looks like it can take the bike with the fender but it does not look as tight or as well designed as the Kuat. Any thoughts one way or another? Can the Kuat just hold a wheel a few inches from the frame? Thanks!

If you plan to carry bikes with fenders you'll need a bike rack that only grabs the bikes by the frame as the wheel mount style will not work with the fenders. The Thule DoubleTrack Pro XT bike rack part # TH92BJ is a very stable rack option that will fit the Curt hitch part # C13284 that you referenced for your 2016 Mazda CX-9.
