If your 2008 Mercedes-Benz E350 sedan has a naked roof without fixed mounting points, I recommend the Rhino-Rack Roof Rack part # RRVA118B-2 (crossbars),# RRRLKVA (legs), and # DK101 (fit kit). It features matte black aerodynamic bars, includes plastic lock cores, and has top channels that can take a variety of accessories. You do have the option to upgrade to all-metal locks with part # RRVA-LEC4 for extra security.

If you take a close look at your roof, and find that it does have fixed mounting points, then I recommend the Thule roof rack, part # TH711220, # TH460R and # THKIT3026.

The Rhino-Rack roof rack comes with integrated locks to secure the rack to your vehicle. These are optional for the Thule roof rack, but are sold separately as part # TH450400.

Both feature aerodynamic crossbars with top channels that can accept a multitude of carriers and accessories.
