Will the B&W 5th Wheel Lifting Device Work With Other Hitch Brands

Question:

I am inquiring about the lifting device. Does this device also fit other manufacturers fifth wheel hitches? I have a Reese 20K hitch Reese Part #: 30083. Is this lifting device compatible with my Reese hitch? Thank you.

If you are looking for a universal lifting device for a fifth wheel hitch I recommend the Demco 5th Wheel Lifting Bracket part # DM6100 because it mimics the shape of a standard kin pin. The B&W 5th Wheel Lifting Device part # BWRVXA3130 is more or less designed for an exact jaw shape/thickness so it won't work well for other fifth wheel hitches.
