B and W Companion Hitch Recommendation for 2018 Ram 2500 Short Bed  

Question:

Looking for a fifth wheel, with companion. From everything Ive learned. I need a slider since my bed is only the 64. I prefer the fifth wheel have a quick release system from the bed. No rails in bed once fifth wheel has been removed.

B and W Companion hitches are the way to go like you mentioned as they are very easy to install, well made, and are made in the USA. So if you have the OEM Ram rail kit in your 2018 Ram 2500 short bed you'd want the # BWRVK3670 which fits the factory pucks in your truck bed directly.

If instead you do not have the OEM rail kit you'd want the # BWRVK3400 with the rail kit part # BWGNRK1384-5W which is a confirmed fit. This gives you a super clean way to install this hitch in your bed that won't involve bed rails.
