Can Spare Be Carried on Malone MicroSportXT Trailer # MPG460XT
Question:
If you get he Microsport XT with the retractable tongue where can you mount a spare tire? Secondly, what is the maximum spread you can make between the bars without mounting to the tongue so the tongue can still retract? Can you still mount a spare tire to the trailer?

Helpful Expert Reply:
I attached a picture that shows where the spare part # MPG465 would mount on the Malone MicroSportXT Trailer # MPG460XT that has a retractable tongue.
The crossbar spread for this is between 44 and 63 inches normally which might get slightly reduced when carrying the spare, but in most cases there's no need for that much of a spread.
