How To Measure a Trailer Roof Vent for a Full Replacement

The vet that is on my horse trailer is currently no longer available so Im trying to replace the whole thing. Trying to determine what size. Where exactly do you measure to determine?

If you are referring to a trailer roof vent such as the Ventline Ventadome Trailer Roof Vent part # V2092SP-28 then you don't really need to measure for a full replacement since these are all an industry standard size which can range from 14" x 14" - 14-1/2" x 14-1/2" depending on where the measurements are taken from. That said, the actual size of the opening should be 14-1/4" x 14-1/4".
The Ventline Ventadome Trailer Roof Vent is a great option and what I recommend you use but I have attached a full list of options below as well if you would like to take a look. They are all the same size though.
