Is Drilling Required to Install Timbren Suspension Enhancement # TFR1504D on a 2011 Ford F-150 4x4
Question:
I am concidering the timbrens, looking under my 2011 4x4 ecoboost F150, the existing stops on the rear do not appear to have the needed holes in the frame to mount the required bracket. Am I going to have to drill the frame for the installation of this product?

Expert Reply:
The existing bump stomp should be mounted to the bottom of the frame rail. If you remove it and see a bolt that holds on the bracket for the factory stop, that is the hole needed to mount the Timbren Springs, # TFR1504D on your 2011 Ford F-150 4x4 and no drilling is required. If you do not see this on your frame with the bump stop removed let me know or email me a picture and I can determine if there is a fit or alternate method of installation.
I have included a link to our FAQ article on Timbren products for you.
