How To Install US 4-Way On 2006 BMW 530 with Euro 7-Way

Question:

I have a European 7 round harness on my 2006 BMW 530 and would like to use my US motorcycle trailer with a four flat plug. I have your connector adapter #118710, which gets me running lights, and left an right turn signals. I would, alas, also like brake lights. On my car, the brake lights and turn signals are separate. What do I need to buy next? Many thanks,

In order to install a US 4-way on a 2006 BMW 530 with Euro 7-way, you'll need to install a new trailer wiring harness and just splice into the tail light circuits. The Upgraded Tail Light Converter with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector part # 119178KIT will work well for this and it comes with everything you need. They don't make an adapter for this which is why you will need to splice but you can also keep your Euro 7-way as well with this option.
