Highest Capacity Trailer Wheel and Tire with 6 on 5-1/2 inch Bolt Pattern

Question:

have new axles 6000 lb. bolt pattern 6 on 5.5. looking for highest rating weight wise. as close to 12000 lb need 5 tires and rims American made only

The highest weight rated trailer wheel and tire is the Taskmaster Provider ST235/80R16 part # TTWTRTM2358016E which has a weight capacity of 3,520 lbs at 80 psi. This would give you a wheel and tire capacity of 14.080 lbs which is over the 12k you mentioned. These do not come mounted on the wheel, so you would need # AM20741 for the wheel and then could get them mounted at a local shop. These are not USA-made tires, but they are made to USA specifications. We no longer have any USA made in this size.
