Towing a Trailer with a 5-Way Using a Truck with 4-Way and 7-Way Connectors

I have a 2018 f-150 with a 7 pin and 4 pole trailer hookup what do i need to tow a trailer with 5 pole- ez loader trailer surge brakes

The easiest way is to use a 7-way to 5-way adapter like part # A75TB. It plugs right in and since you already have all the functions on the 7-way you don't need to make any additional wiring connections.
On the trailer side you can add a 7-way like part # A10-7W6. You can either cut off the 5-way and replace it or connect the wires together and have both a 7-way and 5-way to use whichever you need.
One final option is to use the 4-way and adapt it using part # 20036. This requires you to splice the additional wire in to the truck's reverse light circuit in order for the fifth pin to function.
