Which No-Drill Bracket to Install # 37185 on Class III Receiver for 2010 Ford F150
Question:
I recently purchased a CURT trailer hitch product code 13368 and I am under the impression that it does not come with a factory installed wire connection bracket. I am going to be using the Hopkins Adapter 4 Pole to 7 and 4 Pole - product code 37185 and wanted to know if the short no-drill mount bracket product code 18140 would work or if I would need the longer bracket. Thanks for the help.

You are correct, the Curt Class III receiver you mentioned, part # 13368 does not feature a mounting bracket welded to it.
Over the years, we have found that the long bracket, part # C57202 works better with the thicker tubing used on a Class III hitch, while the short bracket you referred to works better on a Class I or II hitch. The long bracket will allow more clearance at the rear for the wiring to clear.
The # 37185 includes the bracket that will allow the 7-way adapter to attach to the long bracket.
