Are Brake Drums Included with etrailer Brand AKEBRK-35-SA 10 Inch Trailer Bake Assemblies
Question:
does the kits come with the drum

Expert Reply:
The brake hub/drums are sold separately from the hub/drums.
The # AKEBRK-35-SA 10 inch self adjusting trailer brake assemblies are compatible with a 10 x 2-1/4 inch brake hub/drum usually found on a 3500 lb axle. The spindles of a 3500 lb axle are typically compatible with a L44649 outer and a L68149 inner wheel bearing and a grease seal with a 1.719 ID and a 2.565 inch OD. Most 3500 lb rated hubs would use a 5 lug on 4-1/2 inch bolt pattern.
So, I'd recommend checking the reference numbers on your inner and outer wheel bearings and confirming your wheel bolt pattern. If you don't know the bolt pattern, I'll link you to an article that shows how to measure it.
If the bearings and wheel bolt pattern check out, you'd need the # AKHD-545-35-EZ-K hub/drum. The drum includes the wheel bearings, races, the grease seal, a dust cover compatible with either a standard or an EZ lube spindle and the lug nuts.
