The Roadmaster Comfort Ride Leaf Spring Suspension Kit w/ Shocks - Tandem 8K, 3" Trailer Axles # RM-2460-2580 will fit any 3 inch diameter axles. The closest rated 3 inch diameter axles we have are the Dexter Trailer Axle w/ Electric Brakes - E-Z Lube - 8 on 6-1/2 Bolt Pattern - 95" - 7,000 lbs # 8327834-EB. This axle comes with the hubs and brake assemblies so as long a 80 inch on center spring seats work for your trailer, this will be an excellent choice.

You will also need the U-Bolt Kit for Mounting 5,200-lb to 7,000-lb, Round Trailer Axles - 7" Long U-Bolts # APUBR-8. For your 3-1/4" hangers # H248, bolts # 166081 (x 4 ), and bushings # 721590 (x4).

If you need wheel and tires I recommend the Castle Rock ST235/80R16 Radial Trailer Tire w/ 16" Silver Mod Wheel - 8 on 6-1/2 - Load Range E # LHACK133.

Hi, I am interested in the Roadmaster Leaf Spring kit w/Shocks for my 5th wheel. I have 7K lb. w/3" diameter axles. I currently have 7k springs but I would like to install the 8k springs. I will need longer U-bolts than I have now. How do I determine what u-bolt length I need for the Roadmaster Comfort RM-2460-2580 used with my 3" diameter axles? Also how many leaves are on the Roadmaster 8k slipper springs vs the 7K slipper springs? Thanks

The Roadmaster Comfort Ride Kit # RM-2460-2580 is designed for 3" diameter axles, so I'm not sure you'll need longer U-bolts. You should be able to use your existing U-bolts. This 8K setup features 5 leaves.
