Recommended Flat Towing Capapable Spare Tire Carrier For Motorhome
Question:
We just purchased a 2006 Coachman Cross Country Motorhome. We have a spare tire without a rim, and a tow hitch to tow our car, what can we use to carry the spare tire?

I can certainly recommend a spare tire carrier for you. I'd go with the Roadmaster # RM-195225. This carrier will accommodate wheels with any bolt pattern and tires from 16-24-1/2 inches in diameter. The carrier provides a 2 inch receiver that will accept the shank from your tow bar and allow you to flat tow a vehicle. The carrier will pivot downward allowing easy loading and unloading of those heavy spare tires.
We don't carry rims for motorhomes, so unfortunately I wouldn't be able to assist you with that.
I've linked to a product demonstration video showing how the carrier works.
