The Draw-Tite Class II 1-1/4 inch Hitch, part # 36479, will fit a 2012 Chevrolet Malibu. The Yakima Holdup 2 Bike Rack, part # Y02445, you have referenced, will fit a Class II 1-1/4 inch hitch, so it will work on the # C12051 hitch.
There is an important measurement that will help you decide if your Yakima Holdup 1-1/4 inch bike rack will clear the rear bumper on your vehicle. The measurement from the hitch pin hole to the outside edge of the bumper on your Malibu is 7-1/4 inches. The Holdup bike rack needs a measurement of less than 12 inches for it to clear the rear bumper in the down position. So you will have no problem with the fit of the bike rack in the down position.
In the folded up position the bike rack will need a measurement of 7 inches or less, so the bike rack will hit your bumper in the folded up position.
If you want a bike rack to clear the rear bumper when in the folded up position you will need to use a bike rack that will have a clearance measurement of 7-1/4 inches or greater when folded up.
