Fifth Wheel Hitch Recommendation for my 2018 Ram 2500 with Prep Package

I am buying a 2020 Keystone Cougar 32BHS and want to tow it with my 2018 Ram 2500, with a 64 bed with Puck system. What kit should I get?

My recommendation for your 2018 Ram 2500 with the prep package is the B&W Companion OEM 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ Slider part # BWRVK3670. This gives you the tried and true B&W Head and the slider base that will connect directly to your prep package. The slider is recommended so you do not have contact between your camper and your truck.

I have installed a lot of the fifth wheels and this is by far my favorite. It slides better than any on the market. It uses a dual jaw setup to hold the king pin very securely eliminating alot of the chucking and jarring ride that comes when hauling a fifth wheel camper.

Most folks will also choose to add in bed wiring so it is not hanging over the tailgate. I recommend using 5th Wheel/Gooseneck 90-Degree Wiring Harness part # 50-97-410. This will plug in directly between your current 7-way on the back of the truck and allow you an in bed connection point.
