Does B&W Companion Only Fit Turnoverball Gooseneck Hitch for 2019 Chevy Silverado 3500
Question:
I have a Companion 5th wheel hitch. Is there anything I can use to convert this into my new truck which has a Curt Double Lock EZR? It has a somewhat rounded square right now. Thank you

The B&W Companion 5th Wheel Hitch # BWRVK3500-5W does need to be mounted into the Turnoverball Gooseneck hitch; it will not fit into any other hitch. So for your 2019 Chevy Silverado 3500, in order to mount your Companion you do need the following part:
- B&W Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch with Custom Installation Kit # BWGNRK1016-5W
This is going to be the only way to mount your Companion, and I've added a link to an installation video for you to check out as well of the Turnoverball on a '19 Silverado 3500.
In the interest of being completely thorough, I did want to mention another option, which is to add an adapter, the Curt X5 5th-Wheel Base Rail Adapter Plate for EZr Double Lock Gooseneck Trailer Hitch # C16220.
You would then have to get a new 5th wheel hitch, and I highly recommend either the Curt A20 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # C16140 or Reese M5 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # RP30928.
This would be more costly so to offset the cost you could sell your Companion, although if it were me, I would simply go with the new Turnoverball # BWGNRK1016-5W.
