Will 205/75-14 Tires Replace 215/75-14 Tires On a Boat Trailer with 5 Bolt Wheels

Question:

I have a Malibu boat, the current tires are ST215/75R14, it looks like the tire that comes with the rim are ST205/75R14, would this still work for me. The trailer is a dual axle and is missing the spare, so I would like to have all 5 incase of a flat while towing my boat. I have attached a photo of my current wheel/tire, I think this is the same wheel, please confirm. Thanks

The Castle Rock ST205/75R14 Radial Tire w/ 14" Condor Aluminum Wheel - 5 on 4-1/2 - LR C - Gunmetal # LH84VR will work just fine to replace the 215/75-14 tires you have on the trailer now so there will be no issues as they are almost identical in size. I also verified the load range and bolt pattern for you as well, so you are good to go.

If you don't already have a spare wheel/tire mount, the Fulton Hi-Mount Spare Tire Carrier part # FHDSTC0101 is what I recommend.
