The Thule Compass Kayak Carrier # TH890000 is designed to fit on a variety of roof rack crossbars, including factory crossbars on most vehicles. As long as the crossbars on your 1995 Toyota 4Runner are not more than 3-1/4" wide and 1-1/4" tall, you won't have any issues mounting this kayak carrier on them. If your factory bars are slightly taller than that, you can source some longer bolts to attach this kayak carrier to those bars. If your bars are wider than that, let me know and I can make an alternate recommendation for a kayak carrier that would work. You'll also need to make sure that your crossbars are at least 24" apart to safely use the Thule Compass kayak carriers.
