Comparing the Senci 79CC Engine Inside A-iPower 2,000-Watt Generator To Yamaha MZ80

Question:

All generators with the 79 cc seem to be clones of the Yamaha mz80 correct? Are the parts inferior in quality to the Yamaha branded mz80 or is it just a liscencing thing? Thanks

The A-iPower 2,000-Watt Portable Inverter Generator part # 289-SUA2000i uses a Senci 79CC Engine which is indeed a clone of the Yamaha MZ80. That said, I wouldn't say it is inferior as they are very comparable with the Senci option being much more cost effective. It really comes down to paying for the name in all honesty.
