The Reese adjustable ball mount, # RP21141, is designed to fit 2 inch trailer hitch receivers. Provided that your 2011 Chevy Suburban has a 2 inch receiver, this ball mount will fit.
I spoke with my contact at Reese for some measurements and the center of the hitch pin hole is 6 inches back from the support gusset forward on the ball mount. I have included a picture to show this measurement and others.
