Is Timbren Axle-Less Suspension and Dexter Axle Idler Hub Good for a Small Trailer with Camping Gear

Question:

Im looking at buying the Timbren suspension system #ASR2000S02 and pairing it with the Dexter Hubs #84655UC1-EZ to use with my spare toyota wheels. Would this combo be a good fit for a small trailer for hauling camping gear? Would I need to purchase any other parts to finish the build?

Combining the Timbren Axle-Less Trailer Suspension System # ASR2000S02 with the Dexter Trailer Idler Hub Assembly # 84655UC1-EZ is a great option for a small trailer and camping. One of the biggest advantages of the Timbren Axle-Less systems is that they increase ground clearance for the trailer since you don't have an axle tube hanging below everything else.

If you were only needing the suspension parts for your trailer build then you shouldn't need any other parts to finish your project. I will say though that we don't recommend using passenger vehicle tires/wheels for a trailer simply because they have a different design (like the bolt pattern not matching up correctly or the wheel having an offset) and won't perform as well. I know you have your Toyota wheels lined up for use but I would recommend using something like the Kenda Karrier Radial Tire w/ 15" Series LAluminum Wheel # AM32669 instead.
