The B&W Companion 5th wheel hitch, part # BWRVK3500-5W will certainly work. It's designed to install into a B&W Turnover Ball gooseneck hitch to provide a 5th wheel hitch. B&W 5th wheel hitches are what we recommend most because of the high quality and the ride quality they offer. If you don't already have one, the B&W Turnover Ball fit for your 2017 Ram 2500 is part # BWGNRK1384-5W. If you need a 7-way trailer connector installed in the truck bed, use # C56000.
