Is a Converter Needed for the Curt Wiring Harness On a 2017 GMC Acadia
Question:
Is the wiring harness C56326 all that is required for proper trailer and auto light function? Is there any need for an additional converter? A few years ago, I purchased trailer wiring for a 2018 Ford FLex and needed an additional converter wiring harness for adequate functionality. I just want to be sure the same isnt required for my GMC Acadia. Based on the installation video, I see the same connectors on my vehicle. Thank you for your help.

The Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness part # C56326 is a fit for a 2017 GMC Acadia and there won't be any additional parts required such as a converter. The reason for this is because the Acadia's all have the factory tow package so the converters are already built-in and all you'll need to activate the trailer lights is the correct pigtail such as the on above.
Please note, you will however need the Mounting Bracket and Installation Hardware part # PK12711U.
