How to Install Large Thule Cargo Box on 2020 Toyota 4Runner TRD Pro Roof

Hi, I have a 2020 Toyota 4Runner TRD Pro with the tubular roof rack, with the factory cross bars. Which Thule Cargo boxes will fit on this rack. I prefer the largest one possible. I already a Thule rook rack square bars and posts that worked on a similar roof rack for my 2011 FJ cruiser. I also have kayaks that I occasionally need to carry. So I am open to buying a roof rack that will fit atop the OEM rack. Or better, using my existing Thule roof rack. Thanks!

I checked with Thule and you can use their largest cargo boxes on the roof of your 2020 Toyota 4Runner but you have to also install one of their racks to the side rails of your OEM rack as there isn't a direct fit for the factory bars you have.

Since the Thule racks were recently redesigned you wouldn't be able to reuse your current rack so the best option is the Wingbar Evo rack part # TH711420 and # TH710401. This is a rack that has aero shaped bars which attaches directly and easily to your raised side rails. With this installed the Thule Force XT Rooftop Cargo Box # TH6359B that you referenced would fit. This is the largest box they offer at 22 cubic feet of cargo space.
