Safety Chain Mount Large Enough for Two Chains

Question:

Can this be used to hold both chains? My current setup has one rod holding both but I need to move it to a new location and this one would be perfect.

Helpful Expert Reply:

Typically, two of the safety chain brackets would be used. Given the 1-1/2 inch by 3/4 inch size of the loop (see photo), I doubt that two separate chain links would fit. If the links of your safety chains would slip over a 5/8 inch rod, the # 337SC58B would be a better choice as the 2 by 4-/2 inch opening would provide lots of room for two chains to attach.
