Trailer Wiring Needed for 2001 Ford F-150 with Round Plug
Question:
the curt harness #55256 shows theplugs as being square, my 2001 Ford F 150 plugs are round....can you help?

It sounds like you may have found a US Car Connector on your 2001 Ford F-150. It could be that someone else installed some wiring already and that's what is left of their wiring. For the round connector you mentioned you should be able to use the Curt T-Connector # C55774 instead. This will plug right in and give you both 4-Way and 7-Way sockets for various trailer wiring configurations. You can connect this to your trailer hitch using the No-Drill Bracket # C57202.
