Can Curt Echo Mobile Brake Controller Fit 2003 Toyota 4Runner with 7-Way Bracket
Question:
I have an 03 4runner and I just bought the curt hitch from you guys. The part looks very long, will it work with that hitch ? Also from my understanding there is no manual adjustment needed, it figures out what you need depending on your braking, is that correct ?

I checked your order notes and it looks like you bought the Draw Tite hitch part # 75155 for your 2003 Toyota 4Runner which has an angled 7-way bracket on the driver side of the hitch tube. There would be enough clearance for the Curt Echo Mobile brake controller # C51180 to fit. I attached a picture that shows what a 7-way looks like installed on the hitch.
This brake controller is proportional which means that it senses how hard you apply the vehicle brakes and applies the trailer brakes with the same intensity. You will need to set the sensitivity of the controller but you don't have to continously adjust the controller beyond that.
