Recommended Trailer Wiring Harness for a 2009 Kia Sportage 4-Cylinder

hi, i have a 2009 Kia Sportage - LX - 4 cylinder car - and i need a wiring harness for my Curt towbar i bought last year. It keeps telling me about the 6 cylinder wiring harness but i need the 4 cylinder harness. Please advise urgently as i last ordered for a 4 cyl car but ended up with a 6 cyl harness which i returned.

The trailer wiring harness I recommend for a 2009 Kia Sportage 4-Cylinder is the Curt Powered Tail Light Converter part # C59236. The Curt harness is going to provide you will all of the standard trailer lighting functions such as stop, turn, and running. In regards to installation, you will need to splice into three circuits on the vehicle using the supplied quick-splice connectors but this is not nearly as hard as it may sound. There will also be a few other connections as well but nothing is going to be hard per say, just time consuming so I am confident anyone can do this at home by their-self with just simple tools.

Unfortunately, there is not a plug and play trailer wiring harness available for a 2009 Kia Sportage 4-Cylinder like there is for a 2009 Kia Sportage 6-Cylinder so this is your only option.
